'Barriers' evokes multiple ideas about obstacles to the spread and influence of feminist economics as ideas and career paths. There are many ways in which these obstacles can be analysed.  This event starts the conversation with an introduction of an analytical framework.  Sakiko Fukuda-Parr, Diane Elson and Lisa Prügl will discuss Sakiko’s framework of systemic barriers that obstruct the spread of new ideas in policy making: Institutions, Information, Ideology and Interests (Four I's).  For more information on this framework, see paperhere
